Terms & Conditions (Clinic)
1. Appointment Bookings & Deposit
1.1 To secure any treatment or appointment at Deja Vu Aesthetics Bristol, a deposit of £50 (fifty pounds sterling) is required at the time of booking.
1.2 This deposit is non-refundable, except where otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions. The deposit secures your appointment slot and covers the cost of preliminary preparations and/or product procurement made in advance on your behalf.
1.3 The deposit is redeemable against the cost of your treatment on the day of service, provided you attend and complete the treatment (unless otherwise agreed).
1.4 Booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid. If the deposit is not received within the time-period specified at booking, Deja Vu Aesthetics may cancel or release your appointment slot without further notice.
2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Non-attendance
2.1 If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide notice of at least 48 hours (two working days) before the scheduled treatment time.
2.2 If notice of cancellation/rescheduling is given less than 48 hours in advance, the £50 deposit will be forfeited (i.e., not returned and not transferable).
2.3 If you do not attend your appointment and give no prior notice, your deposit is forfeited, and you may be required to pay a new deposit for any future booking.
2.4 If you arrive late (as determined by Deja Vu Aesthetics) such that the scheduled treatment time cannot be completed, Deja Vu Aesthetics reserves the right to cancel the treatment, charge you the full treatment fee, keep the deposit, and require a new booking (or new deposit) for a future appointment.
2.5 If Deja Vu Aesthetics needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment (for example due to practitioner unavailability or equipment failure), we will notify you as soon as possible and endeavor to offer an alternative slot. In such circumstances, your deposit can be credited toward the rescheduled appointment or refunded if no suitable alternative can be offered.
3. Product Procurement & Consumables
3.1 Some treatments may require the purchase or allocation of specific products or consumables in advance. By paying the deposit you acknowledge that such procurement may have been commenced on your behalf, and agreeing to these Terms means you understand the deposit covers that potential cost and the reservation of the slot.
3.2 In the event you cancel or fail to attend, Deja Vu Aesthetics will retain the deposit to cover these costs (even if no treatment is performed).
3.3 On the treatment day, the deposit will be applied against the treatment fee; if the treatment fee is less than or equal to the deposit, no further payment is required. If the treatment fee exceeds the deposit, you agree to pay the balance.
4. Suitability, Medical History & Consent
4.1 Prior to treatment you must provide full and accurate information about your medical history, current medications, allergies, previous treatments, pregnancy/breastfeeding status (if applicable) and any other factors relevant to the treatment.
4.2 Deja Vu Aesthetics reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse or postpone a treatment if it determines the treatment to be unsafe or unsuitable for you. In such case, you remain liable to forfeit the deposit (unless alternative arrangements are agreed) and the treatment may not proceed.
4.3 You will be required to complete and sign a consent form prior to treatment. By attending the appointment, you confirm you have read, understood and accepted risk, post-treatment care and other relevant instructions.
5. Aftercare, Follow-Up & Results
5.1 Results from aesthetic treatments may vary significantly between clients. No guarantee is given regarding specific outcomes.
5.2 You must adhere to aftercare instructions provided by Deja Vu Aesthetics. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results and may invalidate certain liability provisions.
5.3 Where a follow-up review is recommended or included, you agree to attend as scheduled and note that missed follow-ups may impact outcomes and our ability to provide remedial treatment.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment for the treatment (after deducting the deposit) is due on the day of the treatment (or prior to treatment commencing).
6.2 Payment may be made by cash, debit card, credit card or other methods as notified by Deja Vu Aesthetics.
6.3 Where applicable, VAT or other taxes will be added at the prevailing rate.
7. Packages, Courses & Vouchers
7.1 If you purchase a package or course of treatments, or receive a voucher, the package/course/voucher will be subject to its own terms (e.g., validity period, number of sessions, non-transferability) in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
7.2 Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in the deduction of one session from a package or other penalty as specified at purchase.
7.3 Refunds for packages or unused sessions are strictly limited; consult the relevant purchase agreement. Packages are generally non-refundable except in specified exceptional circumstances.
8. Liability & Limitation
8.1 Deja Vu Aesthetics will provide treatments with reasonable care and skill in accordance with prevailing professional standards.
8.2 Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence, our liability for any loss, damage or injury in connection with a treatment (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) shall be limited to the amount paid for the treatment or service.
8.3 Deja Vu Aesthetics will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss (including lost profits, opportunity cost or travel/holiday arrangements) arising from treatment, cancellation or non-attendance.
8.4 You agree that you have disclosed all relevant information to us; if you fail to do so, we cannot be held liable for any adverse outcome resulting from undisclosed factors.
9. Data Protection & Photographs
9.1 For clinical record keeping, photographs may be taken before, during and/or after treatment. You consent to the taking and storage of images for clinical records and audit; where used for internal marketing, your additional consent will be requested.
9.2 We will collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking and attending you consent to such processing.
10. Age & Suitability10.1 Clients must be at least 18 years of age to receive treatments at Deja Vu Aesthetics, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10.2 If a client is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany and give consent; additional terms may apply.
11. Amendments to Terms
11.1 Deja Vu Aesthetics reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of such amendment.
11.2 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Deja Vu Aesthetics in relation to the appointment/treatment and supersede any prior oral or written representations.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
12.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.Signature / Confirmation
By making a booking and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
